The Library has been made rich with quality resources. At present it has around 4000 books covering 700 titles affiliated with CSE, EEE, PHARMACY, ENGLISH , LAW, BBA, FASHION DESIGN etc, 300 journals, and 100 theses. It also subscribes to 3500 E-books through the UGC digital library published by internationally reputed publishers.

All students can get opportunity to know about all the sister concern institution of kumudini welfare trust of Bengal .For this cause we have taken a decision to make a union library collaboration among all the institution library like R. P. shaha university library ,kumudini womens medical college library ,kumudini nursing school library ,Bharateswari Homes Library and others library.

Kumudini Welfare Trust is one of the oldest and largest charity organization in Bangladesh and is located in Tangail District.

Ranada prasad Saha, philanthropist and businessman, founded the charity in 1947 in Bengal as Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal. It was named after his mother Kumudini. From 1971 to 1999 the trust was managed by Saha’s daughter, Joya Pati. From 2000 Rajiv Prashad Shaha, the grandson of Ranada prasad Saha, has headed the trust. The trust manages Kumudini HospitalBharateswari HomesR. P. Shaha University, Nursing School, Women’s Medical College, Trade training School, and Kumudini Handicrafts.

By using this software we can easily maintain our whole library .we can manage a huge collection of book very easily by using this software .Its save the time of the reader & Library personnel. By implementing this software we will convert from traditional to digital library .At this present we maintain our library work by using a package software which has been developed by our IT professionals but as soon as possible we will install koha digital library software in our library. KOHA is a great system which gives you the flexibility to manage your library better. Not only that, it also saves you a lot of money as compared to proprietary system.
